Battle of wordsmiths this weekend

It will be a battle of wordsmiths this weekend as veteran singer, Hosiah Chipanga and Jacob Moyana perform at the same venue this weekend.

 

Jacob Moyana famed for the Munotidako song plays tonight (Friday), while Chipanga entertain fans tomorrow (Saturday).

 

Chipanga said he will play a blend of his old and new tracks, while Moyana has assured fans of an explosive show.

Liquor Hub

Deejay Ranga and mbira ensemble, Deze raWasu, headline the official opening of the liquor and entertainment hub situated in Chikanga tomorrow (Saturday).

 

Revellers and patrons will be treated to open-air braai festivities, while an assortment of beer, wines and whiskies will be on sale.

 

Deze raWasu will entertain imbibers with their dexterity on traditional instruments, while DJ Ranga will entertain fun lovers on the turntables.

Pedu Paye (Odzi)

The leisure centre situated adjacent to Osborne Dam will host versatile wheel spinner, DJ Lanto.

 

The watering home, popularly known as the heart of Odzi has become popular for private events, parties and gigs.

 

It caters for all age groups as it has an executive bar, butchery and braai facilities.

Joe’s Place (Rusape)

Joe’s Place, popular for hosting soccer boozers every weekend, will see an array of local deejays entertaining fun lovers who include social soccer enthusiasts and imbibers today and tomorrow (Sunday)

Bako

The sought-after versatile ensemble, Bako Band which can play sungura and jazz songs is back at their favourite fortress as they perform tomorrow (Saturday).

 

The band will play renditions at their home ground over this weekend.

MiCasa

The upmarket entertainment joint will tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) host Karaoke nights with deejays Terminator and Frazer taking turns to lead the entertainment nights.

 

Sumptuous traditional foods will also be served at the venue as imbibers are treated to classic music.

Morejoy Bottle Store

DJ Lion will tomorrow (Saturday) entertain imbibers and fun lovers at an open air entertainment joint situated in Dora communal lands.

The sleepy rural area will also see local dance ensemble, Diamond Kings and Queens entertaining revellers on the same day.

 

Revellers of all ages will also be treated to some sumptuous gango and braai.
