Lock went into the tour after an impressive run in last week’s Leon Challenger that saw him reach the quarter-finals.

His defeat came after he had won the previous encounter 2-0 against Alfredo Perez from the USA as well. He won the two sets with scores of 6-4 and 6-3 as he got off his competition to a good start.

Against Langmo, in the first set he had three aces while the American had 10. He also had four double faults to Langmo’s two.

In the second set, the Zimbabwean star had two aces while his competitor had three and also had one double fault where the American had zero. In their previous meeting at the Monastir Challenger in Tunisia, Langmo emerged a 2-1 winner. — @brandon_malvin.
