ORGANISERS of the inaugural Freeman HKD Music Festival have warned fans not to be lured into buying fake tickets from individuals who specialise in swindling revellers when such big gigs come along.
The HKD boss is holding his mega music festival at Alex Sports Club on Saturday.
He is set to release an album on the same day.
In a statement, the organisers said:
“Don’t risk your festival experience by buying tickets from individuals advertising tickets on social media or WhatsApp, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) etc.
“Only buy tickets from our authorised sellers and from the ticketing booth on the day of the event, this is ‘subject to availability.’
“Do not buy tickets or tags from unscrupulous individuals in the festival car park because these will not give you access into the festival as we have put measures in place to ensure smooth access for all legitimate ticket holders.
“We will have the police assisting with those found with fraudulent tickets at the festival.
“Protect yourself and ensure a smooth festival experience. Only purchase from these authorised outlets which are Chicken Slice.
“Buy your tickets from Authorised outlets NOW before they run out and avoid the temptation to buy fraudulent tickets from scammers.”
Freeman is billed to share the stage with Master H, Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Poptan, Delroy Shewe, Takura, Tamy Moyo, Nutty 0, Seh Calaz, Nyasha David ,Bazooker, Allen Skits, DJ Captan Plies, DJ Mambo, DJ Tamuka, DJ Mbo, Don Family, Chillspot, Kay Flow, Godfather Templeman, MC Gudo, King 98, Merciless and DJ Tanaman,
The venue has become something like his ‘home ground’ where his shows have attracted their biggest number of fans.
He also plays his social football games at the same club.
