THE Chief Executive Officer of Boltgas Group, Mr Matthew Sibanda, scooped the Midlands Megafest CEO of the year gold award at the ceremony held recently.
Mr Sibanda is an astute entrepreneur who has gained experience in developing start-ups and structuring mergers and acquisitions in Zimbabwe and the sub-region.
He has a wealth of experience in mining engineering, having cut his teeth in underground and surface mining after obtaining a BSc Honours Mining Engineering degree from the University of Zimbabwe.
His journey as an entrepreneur has its genesis in 2005, when he founded Boltgas Industrial and Mining Supplies.
Over the years, Boltgas has firmly established itself in Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Recently, the company established itself in the Democratic Republic of Congo as the business continues to scout for opportunities in the Sadc region.
He has assembled a formidable team of experienced and qualified professionals that share his vision to drive Boltgas forward, supported by a respectable Board of Directors that provides guidance to the whole business to ensure that it operate in line with international best practices and corporate governance practices.
Under his leadership, Boltgas has been awarded various accolades in Zimbabwe and beyond the country’s borders.
This is in recognition of its contribution to the country’s economy, demonstrable market performance, integrity and solid leadership.
