BOOZE FESTIVAL COMES TO LIFE

IMBIBERS in the capital are in for a treat this Sunday when the inaugural Booze Festival comes to life at the LongCheng Adult Park.

The fete, to be held on the eve of the Workers Day holiday, will have various alcoholic beverages on display and sale.

Billed to perform at the event is an array of emcees and deejays who include Etherton Beenie, MC Tatts, Burtler, Andile Brown, Chucknosis, Storm, Ace Forever, Scott and Ace Forever, among many others.

“It’s a first of its kind and we are promising a good show.

“We are going to be having various alcoholic beverages on display from wines, whisky, gin, brandy, lagers, vodka and beers.

“Everyone is catered for when it comes to alcoholic   beverages.

“New brands that are also getting on the market will be available for tasting.

“One of the main features of the event is going to be the long bar, which accommodates several people at one go.

“We continue to spread the gospel of responsible drinking to alcohol drinkers as this event is meant to bring merry makers to enjoy some quality time having some quality beverages,” said event organiser Francis “Papa” Dendere.

He added:

“Preparations are already underway to make sure we have a great event come Sunday.

“This is the first and we are certainly going to be having more during the course of the year.”
