THE Highlanders debt stands at $765 060.36 as of 31 July 2016, B-Metro Sport can exclusively reveal.

There have been conflicting versions of how much the Bulawayo giants debt stands at, with the club chairman Peter Dube saying the debt was slightly over half a million dollars while board chairman Mgcini Nkolomi hinted it was a few thousands short of the million dollar mark.

B-Metro breaks it down for you.

Trade creditors are owed $23 500. Trade creditors are suppliers that send a business goods, or supply it with services.

A total of $335 651, 65 is listed on the debt list as accruals which refer to revenue that has been earned but is not yet recorded in the Bosso accounts.

Sundry creditors a�� persons who supply goods or services to a business firm on credit basis a�� are owed $197 281, 88.

A total of $114 371,37 is owed to statutory obligations which are defined as obligations that do not arise out of a contract, but are imposed by law in this case refer to institutions such as the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority.

Then there are also individuals such as former coaches Madinda Ndlovu and Rahman Gumbo as well as former players Graham Ncube, Mthulisi Maphosa and even player Bruce Kangwa, currently on trials in Tanzania, who are also owed money by Highlanders.

Their dues are listed under the net pay or outstanding salaries section of the debt and amount to $74 200 and leave provisions amounting to $4 840,80.

Last but not least are short term loans amounting to $15 214, 66.
