HIGHLANDERS appear to have stumbled on a genuinely talented teenage football star.

Prince Ndlovu, the youngest player on show at Rufaro yesterday, produced a fine show which was a mockery to his young age.

It was also the first time that the 17-year-old wonder kid played at Rufaro since his arrival in the domestic Premiership two years ago.

He oozed with confidence and, when he was pulled out in the 62nd minute, Bosso were leading 2-1 against Herentals.

The match eventually ended in a 2-2 draw.

“Growing up, we heard of Rufaro, a stadium that carries a lot of history so, in reality, it is any player’s dream to play here,” said Ndovu.

“I also had that dream, unfortunately, when I came to top-flight, the stadium was not in use and I had to wait longer.

“When it was then homologated, I took it as an opportunity to make my dream come true so I was motivated to work harder just to make it into the first team so that, for those few minutes, I could live my dream.”
