BREAKING NEWS: Kwinji 15 names her squad

MIGHTY Warriors head coach Sithethelelwe “Kwinji15” Sibanda has named a 32-member provisional squad for the upcoming COSAFA Women’s Championship.

Making a return to the team after a long injury lay-off is striker Rudo Neshamba.

The notable absentee from Sibanda’s squad is stocky forward Rutendo Makore who won the Golden Boot Award in the 2017 edition of the tournament.

The Mighty Warriors were drawn in Group C alongside Swaziland, Angola and Mozambique.

The tournament will run from 31 July to 11 August and Sibanda’s team will meet Angola in their first game of the competition.
