BREAKING: Zex Manatsa dies

LEGENDARY musician Zex Manatsa has died.

He was 78.

The “Tea Hobvu” hitmaker succumbed to cancer.

The announcement was made on the late musician’s Facebook page and has since been confirmed by family members.

“With great sadness, we would like to let everyone know that our father, our legend, pastor and sekuru,  Zexie Manatsa, has succumbed to cancer. May his dear soul rest in peace. 01/01/44-20/01/2022,” reads the Facebook post.

Last year, the veteran musician spent Christmas in hospital receiving treatment for a type of cancer diagnosed as called Multiple Myeloma, but his health continued to deteriorate.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
