Local Bulawayo businessman and Zanu-PF benefactor, Misheck Imbayarwo, has reached out to the media in a desperate plea for information regarding the whereabouts of his niece, Tecla Imbayarwo, who has reportedly disappeared after allegedly stealing money from him.
Misheck stated that his primary concern at this moment is not the stolen money, but rather the safe return of Tecla to her home.
“I am not worried about the money she took; my main priority is to ensure her safety,” Misheck expressed. “I appeal to anyone with information about her whereabouts to kindly assist us in bringing her back home.”
Tecla’s sudden disappearance has raised concerns within the community, with neighbours confirming they had also heard of her missing status.
One neighbour noted, “In the days leading up to her disappearance, we noticed an increase in traffic to their house. Tecla seemed subdued, rarely coming out or interacting with us.
“We constantly questioned ourselves what was happening but since Tecla herself was not talking to us, there was no one who could give us the answers. Tecla herself was an intelligent kid learning at Petra but she suddenly changed and we do not know what was happening with her.”
The neighbour’s observations suggest that something may have been troubling Tecla prior to her disappearance.
As the family seeks answers, they hope that anyone with relevant information will step forward to help locate Tecla and ensure her well-being.
