After winning the best model gong at the Bulawayo Arts Awards held earlier this year, model Shadel Noble is now set to go head to head with some of southern Africaas finest men on the ramp at the Zambian Fashion and Model Awards.

As the winner of the Best Male

Model of the Year at the Matabeleland Fashion Week 2015 as well as the Mr Fingers title in 2015, the last few years have been an exciting roller-coaster ride for Noble, who has emerged as one of the cityas prominent models after making the switch from the basketball court to the ramp.

After propelling Founders High to success in basketball, Noble is now winning away from the court, as he will be competing with some of the best models from Botswana, South Africa and Swaziland in the best emerging international model award category.

Noble for his part said that he was happy to get regional recognition for his work.

a?This motivates me to keep working hard and kick even more doors down. The sky is not even the limit. Thereas a lot more that I can achieve,a? Noble said.
