WITH only a few days left, Bulawayo, known for its vibrant culture and love for music, is gripped by fever for The Bulawayo Shutdown 2.0 as music lovers are buzzing with excitement as the date for the mega-show starring Zimbabwe’s galaxy of artistes draws closer.
The line-up boasted a stellar cast of 22 of the hottest local acts, including Zimbabwean music royalty such as the enigmatic Winky D, whose lyrics often carried social commentary, and the ever-popular Jah Prayzah, known for his energetic stage presence and infectious rhythms.
As Bulawayo eagerly awaited The Bulawayo Shutdown 2.0, music lovers are scrambling to secure their spots at this highly anticipated event by buying tickets in advance.
Tickets are selling out fast, indicating an overwhelming demand for this star-studded event.
The music festival, promising to ignite the city, is being organised by Harris Entertainment.
In an interview with B-Metro, show organisers confirmed that everything is on track as preparations for the mega show are nearly 98 percent complete.

Organisers expressed their excitement and confidence, stating that they are well-prepared to deliver an unforgettable experience for music lovers.
“We are thrilled to confirm that everything is now in place for The Bulawayo Shutdown 2.0.

He encouraged people to come early to secure their spot and enjoy the full show experience, adding that security would be tight.
“Ample parking will be available, and we have implemented robust security measures to ensure the safety and security of all vehicles.
“We have also partnered with local security companies to provide a safe and secure environment for all attendees. Come early, come prepared to party, and let’s make The Bulawayo Shutdown 2.0 an unforgettable night,” said the organiser.
