AWARD-WINNING businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Chido Chidziva, scooped yet another award at the Zimbabwe CEO Network Awards.

Chidziva boasts of the Top Social Entrepreneur and Zimbabwe Achievers awards to her name.

In an interview, Chidziva said she would continue working hard.

“I believe that the sky’s the limit. If one sets their mind on anything, nothing is far from reach.

“I see myself as one of the most influential people, not only in Zimbabwe, but in Africa through my passionate work at Chido Chevasikana Trust.

“I intend to have my contribution in the social sector recognised by institutions like the United Nations, and Forbes Under-30 achievers.

“Social media has really helped a lot of brands market themselves, and our Chimatai Media is one of them,” she said.

The Chido Chevasikanan Trust seeks to empower young girls by keeping them in school and offering opportunities for them using various strategies.

The foundation she created in 2007 has to date distributed at least 1.3 million sanitary ware to young disadvantaged girls countrywide.

“Apart from being a full-time mother to a beautiful daughter, I’m also into golf and enjoy reading books.”
