The seasoned Sunshine Tour campaigner was happy with his first win and said he will try to keep working hard so that he wins more.
He had a poor last round but, carrying a healthy lead, he managed to survive.
“I started badly dropping several shots on the first nine and I only got my composure in the second nine,” he said.
“I am happy that I managed to win the tournament as I was having an indifferent game on the last day.
“The win did not come easily and I thank everyone who gave me the support.”
Dean Schoultz, on four-under-par, was second.
His final day 69 helped him take second place.
He pocketed US$3000.
Patrick Mwendapole of Zambia was third on three-under-par after shooting 72, 73 and 69.
He went home US$ 2 400 richer.
Ignatius Mketekete, who came in as favourite in the absence of Tongo Charamba, finished fourth on level par.
He took home US$ 1 125 after shooting 73, 72 and 71. Day Muyambo was fifth with Trainos Muradzikwa and Nyasha Muyambo tied on sixth place while Robson Saurombe, Brian Gondo and Greg Bentley completed the top 10.
Charamba failed to make the cut at the Alfred Dunhill Championships in South Africa.
