FORMER national team coach Cathy Riley believes golf sensation Danielle Bekker has what it takes to make an impression at the Kids Golf World Championships at the Palm Villa Golf and Country Club in Johor, Malaysia.

The 11-year-old Chapman golfer is Zimbabwe’s sole representative at the Kids Golf World Championships.

“I wish Bekker all the best in the event and I believe her confidence will help her and if she maintains that she will do well,” Riley said.

“I know the conditions may affect her but she has the capacity and I believe she will do well.

“She has been working hard for the event and I believe her hard work will pay off.”

The golfer, who is now playing off 10-handicap, will play along with Malaysia’s Farah Adlayah Yeoh and Marhirah Bt Azmi.
