Partson Chimbodza, one of organisers, confirmed Chicken Slice — owned by gospel musician Tawanda Mutyebere — would provide food to showgoers.
“We are delighted to have Chicken Slice on board and they are going to do catering for our guests and music fans. It was an honour that they agreed to assist and this is the beginning of greater things to come,” Chimbodza said.
The Air Force of Zimbabwe have donated a helicopter which will be used to fly Oliver Mtukudzi from his home in Norton, and landing at KGVI Barracks where a convoy of luxury cars from Premier Auto and a limousine will be waiting to take him to the Glamis Arena.
The spectacle will be screened live starting at 12 noon on ZBCTV courtesy of the partnership between Tuku and the national broadcaster.
Other sponsors include Zimpapers, Cake Link, Clarion Insurance, Champion Insurance, NetOne, Mahaka Media and the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society.
Tickets to the show will be available on the day of the concert with the minimum going for US$10 for the rest of the ground, US$30 for VIP and US$60 for VVIP.
