Chinodakufa for Mwana Africa

Mwana Africa team manager, Victor Muziri, confirmed yesterday confirmed that pressure from the community had forced them to fire Kataya.
“Mwana Africa is a community-owned team and it’s the supporters who are complaining about the poor results which we have been getting of late. Kataya had his personal problems which had a negative effect on the team. We are in talks with Chinodakufa but he is yet to make a decision whether he wants to succeed Kataya as the coach.

“The final position will be discussed by end of this week because the chairman, Mr Saika, is out of the country so we are waiting for his return to put to an end the issue,” added Muziri.

Meanwhile, Triangle were the biggest winners in the Zifa Eastern Region thumping Chivhu Stars 9-0 over the weekend and have moved into fourth place on the log with 29 points from 12 matches.
Hippo Valley kept pressure on log leaders Setheo after dismissing Masvingo United 2-0 in another lively match at Chaminuka.
