A CHIREDZI magistrate last week appeared before Masvingo magistrate Patience Madondo on charges of aggravated indecent assault.
Thirty-year-old Simbarashe Gundani of Impala Drive, Chiredzi, is alleged to have lured a 32-year-old man of Westwood, Chiredzi, to his home before indecently assaulting him.
He was remanded in custody but was however, in the process of applying for bail at the Masvingo High Court.
The allegations against Gundani are that on 21 November, he lured the complaint to his home after some beer drinking and offered him a place to sleep.
He approached the complainant while sleeping and kissed him once on the lips.
He allegedly removed his boxer shorts and indecently assaulted him.
The complainant and the accused are said to be friends thus he positively identified him. Sophia Bhusvumani prosecuted.
