THE Chitungwiza Town Council has recorded substantive progress in sewer and road rehabilitation through enhanced community engagement and understanding the needs of ratepayers.

This was revealed by the town’s mayor, Councillor Rosaria Mangoma, during the council’s 49th ordinary meeting on Thursday.

“I urge all councillors to go back to residents in their wards, giving feedback. These are the people who voted for us to represent them. Our employees are working tirelessly to address challenges in the town”, said Councilor Mangoma

She urged councillors and personnel to focus on improving service delivery.

“I urge all departments, sections, and committees to continue aligning their efforts with our vision of becoming a Smart Heritage City,” she said.
