Did you know thereas a link between oneas private parts and their stomach? Of course thereas no link, silly!
But a Gokwe Madzibaba thought he would get away with that lie when he inserted his hand into a clientas privates as a way of a?curinga? stomach pains.
Kennias Mapiko, the self-styled healer from Kamhororo village under Chief Nemangwe, allegedly shoved his hand into a juvenileas private parts claiming there was growth in her stomach that resulted in her developing a bulging tummy.
A source told B-Metro that the 16 -year-old girl (name withheld) had severe cramps during her monthly periods.
As a result she developed a swollen tummy like that of a pregnant woman. Her parents took her to different doctors but the condition didnat change and they ended up falling right on the prophetas radar.
a?She had severe stomach pains and at times would miss school due to unbearable period pains. Her mother decided to take her to a prophet. Upon arrival at Madzibabaas homestead, Mapiko told them it was not period pains as they thought but there was some stuff inside her uterus which needed to be removed,a? said a source.
They believed the prophet had a solution but little did they know what was up.
a?He inserted his hand in the juvenileas privates before pulling out a chunk of meat which he said was the cause of the sickness. Since then the girl has been experiencing excruciating pain and her mother believes it is a result of the prophetas doing,a? added the source.
When contacted for comment Chief Nemangwe confirmed the incident.
a?That is unacceptable behaviour by the prophet. Prophets should help people and not harm them. He is not even a medical doctor so why would he remove a chunk of meat form a person. Surprisingly he is not sorry and he believes he had every right to do what he did,a? said Chief Nemangwe.
Madzibaba Mapiko told B-Metro that he was on point.
a?There is nothing wrong with what I did, it was part of my job as a prophet and a healer. Even in hospitals male doctors treat female patients and there is nothing wrong with inserting a hand if the need arises,a? said Mapiko.
