A MATOPO family which was last year blessed with triplets yesterday received a cash donation of $221 from the General Foundation Apostolic Church in Christ, United Kingdom Branch. The donation comes three months after Zimpapers’ Bulawayo Branch donated to the family.

Representing the church, Pastor Melford Moyo said congregants felt it was proper to donate to the family after having read about the hardships the family was facing, in The Chronicle.

“The donation was made out of love and care with the intention of improving these children’s lives. Our wish is to see them grow old with a bright future,” Pastor Moyo said.

Their mother Simphiwe Bhebhe said she was very happy to receive the donation.

She said she had finally named her children.

“They will be five months old on February 17, and their names are Sibusiso, Siyabonga and Sandisiwe,” Bhebhe said.

She added that the money was definitely going to change both her life and the children’s life as she was having challenges in raising them.

Last year Zimpapers Bulawayo donated clothes, groceries and cash to Bhebhe.

The triplets increased the number of her children to seven.
