DYNAMOS vice-chairman, Vincent Chawonza, says they respect the decisions of their coaches and they will not intervene in technical issues.
He reiterated they have confidence in their coaches, led by Herbert “Jompano” Maruwa.
The club, said Chawonza, was united and focused on building a team that is going to dominate the domestic scene for years.
The issue of talisman, Denver Mukamba, has been quite divisive at DeMbare.
Chawonza said the club’s leaders will not intervene in what is a purely technical matter.
“Denver is the darling of the crowd, the current coaches are the ones who signed him.
“It is up to them whether he plays or not.
“Normally, we know players are selected based on performances in training sessions and, honestly, that’s for the coaches to decide.”
Chawonza feels there are some forces with an agenda to unsettle the team and create imaginary divisions at the Glamour Boys.
The club are seeking to establish ways to make the club self-sufficient and Chawonza feels this can only be achieved by honouring the deals they signed with their current partners and sponsors.
“I can confirm that we have no cracks within the team. The players are united and all are raring to go,” said Chawonza.
“Our coaches are behind all their players.
“Mind you, the majority of the squad was signed by these coaches and that means they are okay with everyone. “And, we are backing our coaches throughout, we have to learn from the past.
“As the executive, we want to make sure we have put everything in place that will see the club dominating football on the continent.”
He added:
“The desired results will come along the way, but it’s not an overnight thing as there is need for us to have a continuous good work ethic.
“We also have our partners and sponsors.
“We have to do everything to protect their brands and image. Remember they are injecting a lot of funds into the club.
“Trust should always exist between all the stakeholders and Dynamos are a big family and a big institution.”
