Coco Gauff’s astonishing networth

TENNIS superstar Coco Gauff’s incredible net worth and stunning wealth has been revealed as she fights for the US Open.

The American ace is battling to win back her title at Flushing Meadows, the scene of her home triumph in 2023.

The 21-year-old has had a mixed year on court, but decided to make some major changes ahead of the New York tournament.

Just days before the start, it was announced she had fired her coach Matt Daly, a huge shock ahead of the final Grand Slam of the year.

But her success on the court, and off it as well, has seen her retain her status as the highest-earning female athlete in the world.

Gauff has raked-in a staggering $37.2 million (£27.58m) this year, a mind-blowing sum of money. In the Forbes’ annual rich list of tennis players, she is only behind male counterparts Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

She bagged a mammoth $12.2m (£9m) from on-court earnings, notably winning the French Open earlier this year. But most of her net worth and wealth came from a hefty $25m (£18.49m) of endorsements away from the action.

It makes her one of the most marketable athletes on the planet, with brands lining up to make her their marketing face.

Speakers and headphone firm Bose and sportswear firm New Balance are two already working with her. And hair care giant Carol’s Daughter also have Gauff signed up, as more look to follow suit in the years to come.

Her earrings have risen by around $10m (£7.39m) from last year, showing the incredible growth she has had. The American will be looking to add another $5m (£3.7m) to that with a win at the US Open over the next two weeks.

The world no3 will be looking to bag a second title at Flushing, backed by the support of the Big Apple crowd. The action got underway on Sunday, with the women’s final come next Saturday, the day before the men are on Arthur Ashe Stadium. Novak Djokovic came in fourth on Forbes’ earnings list with $29.6m (£21.89m).

He was followed by women’s world No1 Aryna Sabalenka at $27.4m (£20.26m).

She has risen five spots from last year, following an incredible run.

Chinese star Qinwen Zheng is in sixth place with $26.1m (£19.3m).

Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek comes after, amassing a hefty $24m (£17.75m).

Then there’s American duo Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, with $15.6m (£11.54m) and $15.2m (£11.24m).

And finally Daniil Medvedev rounds off the top ten with $14.3m (£10.57m). —Sun.
