COME Again managed to win the Kadoma derby after they beat CUMA Academy 1-0 in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League at Rimuka on Sunday.
The Northern Region Division One League resumed at the weekend after a month-long mid-season break.
The Wonder Ngoko-coached Come Again have been struggling in their first season in the league so was Cuthbert Malajila-owned CUMA Academy.
Ngoko said he was happy to win the first game of the reverse fixtures as they seek to avoid relegation.
The two sides have a rivalry that dates back when they were in Division Two as their promotion battle had to be decided through the boardroom.
“It feels great to win against CUMA Academy who we have known for sometime and the derby had so much tension. The boys did well and we are hopeful we will continue with the same form.
The other matches saw championship chasing Golden Eagles emerging victorious against Ngezi Platinum Stars Under-19 at Ellis Robbins.
Golden Eagles won 3-0 against Clifton Kadurira’s side with Chris Samakwere, Lindell Mufundisi and Henry Manatsa.
