BULAWAYO residents can look forward to a cool and pleasant winter day on Wednesday, with sunny conditions expected to prevail across the city.

According to weather forecasting service AccuWeather, Bulawayo is forecast to record a maximum temperature of 23°C and a minimum of 6°C, with no rainfall expected.

The forecast indicates clear and sunny conditions for most of the day, providing favourable weather for outdoor activities, travel and construction work.

AccuWeather predicts that the city will continue experiencing typical winter conditions characterised by chilly early mornings and evenings, followed by mild and comfortable daytime temperatures.

Forecasters say residents should dress warmly during the morning hours when temperatures are expected to be at their lowest before gradually rising as the day progresses.

The dry weather is expected to continue throughout much of the week, with sunshine dominating the forecast and little chance of any significant rainfall.

June is traditionally one of Bulawayo’s driest months, with low rainfall activity and generally stable weather conditions. The city typically experiences cool nights and mild afternoons during the winter season.
