Correction and Apology

In our Tuesday, July 14 edition, we published an opinion article by our contributor, Obert Gutu, who is based in New Zealand. Regrettably, we accompanied the piece with an incorrect photograph of a different individual who shares the same name—a Corporate Lawyer, former Deputy Minister of Justice & Legal Affairs, and former Commissioner of the National Peace & Reconciliation Commission.

This was an inadvertent error on our part, and we fully recognise the embarrassment and inconvenience this misidentification has caused both gentlemen. We offer our sincere and unreserved apologies and have since implemented stricter verification protocols to ensure this mistake is never repeated. – Editor
