Twinlock Moyo with his 14-year-old girlfriend ran out of luck when they met the complainanta��s uncle as they were on their way home from their sex haven.
Pressed for the truth, the 14-year-old opened up leading to Moyoa��s arrest.
Moyo was hauled before Western Commonage magistrate Stephen Ndlovu facing charges of having sexual intercourse with a young person.
He pleaded guilty to the charge citing that the girl was his girlfriend, but he did not know her age.
The magistrate warned Moyo to desist from sleeping with minors as it would always land him in trouble with the law.
Moyo was sentenced to 12 months in prison of which six months were suspended on condition of good behaviour.
For the remaining six months, he was ordered to perform 210 hours of community service at Mzilikazi police station.
The court heard that the girl is a Form Two pupil and she was in a relationship with Moyo.
On 27 September at around 7pm, Moyo went to the girla��s home in Cowdray Park and invited her for a walk.
They proceeded to Ngozi Mine dump site and realising they were in a secluded place, they had sexual intercourse.
Unfortunately, on their way back home, they met the girla��s uncle who demanded to know what was happening resulting in the girl later opening up.
The uncle then told the girla��s mother and they reported the matter to the police.
