adminFAST rising Zim Dancehall chanter and Hobhouse high-density-based gifted composer Soul Jah Tee, the lad behind the popular song Handina Godo, is working on a second album, Zvatanga zvemangoma.
The singer, whose real name is Tatenda Mupoga, joined the bandwagon of established dancehall musicians such as Toky Vibes, Shinsoman, Soul Jah Love, Seh Calaz and Ras Pombi when he composed a hit on Body Slam tune produced by PTK called Handina Godo.
The single received rare reviews by local dancehall music lovers.
In an interview with The Weekender, Mupoga said his lyrical ingenuity was inspired by the poor background he was raised in.
He marked his presence in the dancehall industry when he released his debut album, Long Story, in 2012.
He showed a lot of potential on the album which did not do very well on the market. The album carries soulful and touching tracks such as Tariro featuring Dr D.A.V.T, Ndiwe wandinoda and Amai.
“The album is almost out. We are just putting final touches on it. We are looking forward to hosting various talented dancehall musicians at the official launch of the album. I have worked with various established producers such as PTK, Fantan, Levels and Samcris, among others. The album is a reflection of various difficulties I faced in my life and how I have managed to overcome some of them.
