Two top dancehall artistes Soul Jah Love and Seh Calaz are set to perform at The Platinum (formerly Pick and Save) in Mutare this weekend.
The shows are meant to celebrate their nominations for the upcoming Zimdancehall Awards .
Soul Jah Love will perform tonight while Seh Calaz will perform tomorrow at the same venue.
Promoter of the show Esau Mupfumi said they have decided to bring the two on different occasions to avoid clashes between their fans.
“We have been following events involving these two artistes and in as much as we would like to bring them together we might cause havoc,” he said.
He said they wanted fans to enjoy the weekend with their favourite artistes without any inference.
“What we want is entertainment, not the clashes and as promoters it is our role to bring them to entertain people not to let them clash,” he said.
The two artistes have clashed on several times.
They have even penned songs dissing each other and their fans have joined the ship and turned their joint shows into battlefields.
Soul Jah Love’s camp promised a good show to their fans in Mutare.
The musician is expected to thrill fans with his songs that are popular in most public places like “Ndini Uya Uya”, “Gumkum”, ‘’Kuponda Nhamo” and “Ndakamukwapaidza” among others.
Seh Calaz has been topping the chats with his hit songs like “Kwatinobva Kwakasiyana”, “Mboko iMboko” and “Tapinda muSummer Time”.
