HIGHLANDERS coach, Hendrik Pieter de Jongh is headed for FC Platinum where he will be unveiled on 1 January.
Bosso offered the Dutchman a new and improved contract which De Jongh was meant to sign, his deadline to put pen to paper being Tuesday.
De Jongh left the country on Sunday.
All is pointing to De Jongh informing Highlanders that he has decided against signing the new contract.
Sources have said it seems that De Jongh has already signed a pre-contract with the three times in a row Zimbabwean club champions.
De Jongh presided over 11 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches for Highlanders since he came in at the end of September. He won four, drew five and one. His biggest achievement was winning the Chibuku Super Cup where he was in charge of Bosso’s four matches in the competition, with a 1-0 triumph over Ngezi Platinum Stars in the final.
