WHAT began as a breakup turned bloody in Chegutu when a domestic dispute ended in murder.
Sophia Makenzi (33) was allegedly stabbed in the lower abdomen by her husband, known only as Peter Center, during a heated fight over property sharing after their divorce.
Police, in a statement, said the couple had been living together for just eight months before things spiraled out of control on 2 May 2025.
Peter reportedly fled the scene after the vicious attack. Police have since launched a manhunt and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
