champions Liga Muculmana at Rufaro on Sunday knowing that a victory by any margin will see then progressing to the next round.
Even a 1-1 draw or a goalless draw could be good enough for DeMbare who held the Mozambicans to a 2-2 draw.
Unlike in the previous campaign, where chaos characterised the team’s build-up to a crucial game, the Harare giants have been oasis of tranquillity.
The club’s treasurer, Moses Chikwariro, said they have done enough to motivate the players ahead of the game.
“In terms of motivating the players, I think we have played our part.
“During the past days, we have managed to pay all the outstanding signing-on fees as well as bonuses.
“We have also paid the players their dues for the draw in Mozambique and we have also given them their money for the win against Hardbody.
“So, for now, no one is owed anything and we believe the players are now focused on the game,” said Chikwariro.
Dynamos managed to absorb some of the huge costs of running the club after their principal sponsors BancABC chipped in.
Webster Chikengezha, the team vice-chairman, said with everything now in place, he was confident of a good result on Sunday.
“We are hoping that we will proceed to the next round.
“We have played them in Maputo and managed a draw but we are confident of finishing them off,” said Chikengezha.
Dynamos said they were anticipating are sellout holiday crowd on Sunday and have taken steps to ensure a smooth flow at the gates.
The Harare giants have hiked tickets for the rest of the ground to US$4 while the Upper Grand stand is US$10 and the VIP is US$15 with the VVIP being strictly by invitation.
“We have made a slight hike in the gate charges because there are lot of expenses to take care of and I hope that our die-hard fans will bear with us,” said club secretary Ray Kazembe.
Kazembe said that they will not stand in the way if striker, Takesure Chinyama, decides to move during the mid-season.
“Takesure has been in top form and if he continues like that, then it will not be surprising to lose him around July.”
