DYNAMOS are understood to be preparing a new contract for in-form Ghanaian striker Frank Agyemang amid growing interest from several clubs, including ambitious Castle Lager Premier Soccer League rivals Scottland.

Scottland are reportedly keeping close tabs on the forward as they begin assembling a squad capable of competing in the CAF Champions League, although sources indicate the league champions are also prioritising other targets, including a Namibian striker, as part of a broader recruitment drive.

Agyemang has emerged as one of Dynamos’ standout performers this season, with his displays attracting attention from both local and regional clubs.  The Ghanaian arrived at the Glamour Boys on a three-year contract in January 2025 and has since established himself as one of the club’s key attacking players. However, a highly placed Dynamos source said the Harare giants are determined to retain the striker despite the growing transfer interest.

“There have been consultations from different clubs regarding Frank because of the season he is having, but our position is clear. We want him to remain at Dynamos,” the source said.

“The club is already looking at improving his terms and extending his stay. He remains a very important player in our project and we believe his future is here.” The source added that while enquiries had been received, Dynamos had not entered into formal negotiations with any club.

“Interest is normal when a player performs well, but we are not under pressure to sell. Frank is happy here and the intention is to build the team around players of his quality rather than lose them.” Scottland are expected to strengthen significantly ahead of their maiden CAF Champions League campaign after securing domestic honours, with the club believed to be targeting experienced and proven performers to bolster several departments.
