The album will be the young DJ’s second offering after his first album, Deep House From Bulawayo, which was released on social networks and download for free online.
He said this album was different from his debut project, as in this latest compilation he and supporting DJs exhibit more originality.
“My last album was mainly composed of remixes of international songs, but in this new compilation everything from the beats to the melodies will be the product of Bulawayo artists and no one else,” said Sibanda.
He said he had been playing in most city clubs with the hope of gaining publicity for his album, which he said would be made up of deep house tracks only.
“I have been playing in some clubs in the city while working with other local acts like DJ Mzoe and DJ Deep Traffic,” said Sibanda.
DJ Skaiva said that he started doing house music in 2009 after being inspired by esteemed house artistes like South Africa’s Black Coffee and American house music legend Louis Vega.
He said the album would be released with support of record labels Star Africa Records as well Underground House Records who are keen to lend support to new artists.
