TWO Waterfalls men appeared in the Mbare Magistrates’ Court facing a charge of possession of dangerous drugs.
Tinotenda Muteketi, 25, and Knowledge Mudzamiri, 35, appeared before magistrate Privilege Gakanje yesterday after being caught with 0.20 grammes of dagga.
They both pleaded guilty to the charge. It is in the State case that on February 25, Tinotenda and Knowledge were arrested by Constantino Philip Guta and Constantino Chikosha after the two policemen received a tip-off that the two were selling drugs at their place of residence.
They found Tinotenda in possession of 15 sachets, and one twister of dagga weighing 0.20 grammes, plus two sachets of crystal meth.
Tinotenda was arrested and implicated Knowledge as the owner of the drugs.
“I wanted to sell drugs so that I can look after my expecting wife,” said Tinotenda.
“I did this because I was trying to raise money for fees for my three children, and my wife is also expecting,” said Knowledge.
