A DRUNKEN jealous fit has landed a Chipinge man in hot water after he bashed his wife in a brutal domestic assault!
The 36-year-old thug was hauled before the Chipinge Magistrates’ Court for pummeling his wife with fists, slapping her repeatedly, and smashing her against a wall during a drunken meltdown on 22 April 2025.
The attack, according to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ), fueled by wild accusations of infidelity, left the 28-year-old wife battered and bruised. She was rushed for a medical examination after the violent ordeal.
The court heard that the man knowingly caused harm and showed no regard for the risk to his wife’s safety.
