DYNAMOS chairman, Vincent Chawonza, says the club is now more stable despite the resignation of four senior members of his executive.

Vice-chairman Spencer Chihota and three others — David Chikomo, Batson Nkoma and Justice Mubayi — have left the club’s leadership.

Only Chawonza, CEO Desmond Bvute and secretary-general Devine Sena remain at the club.

The resignations came as the club announced a new partnership with AfricaBet and ContiPay.

DeMbare host MWOS in a Castle Lager Premiership game at Rufaro this afternoon.

“Our beloved club continues to grow stronger, not only on the pitch but also through powerful partnerships,” he said.

“We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Africa Bet and ContiPay, two partners who believe in the spirit of Dynamos, and the passion of our fans. As a token of appreciation, 100 tickets will be given to our loyal fans to attend our upcoming home clash against MWOS.

“On Matchday, we will raise the blue tide together, with 10,000 flags handed out to fans coming to the stadium. Let’s paint Rufaro blue.”

Chawonza said without their fans, the Glamour Boys will not be the huge franchise that they are.

“We need you, the heart and soul of Dynamos Football Club, to come in your numbers and fill the stands, to sing, to cheer, and to push our team to victory. Your voice, your energy, your presence, that is what makes Dynamos unstoppable.

“I urge every fan to stand tall, to show up, and to make this match unforgettable.”

He added:

“Most importantly, I encourage you to support our sponsor, AfricaBet, by visiting their branches and their website. Enjoy playing and winning with them. Let us unite. Let us roar. Let us conquer. Dynamos is not just a club, it is a movement, and you are its beating hear.”

Chawonza also said they have arranged transport for fans through the club chapters to the next away game against Simba Bhora.

“Last but not least, I have arranged buses and transport for supporters to Shamva on Sunday, for our significant match against Simba Bhora, just as we did for the match against AGAMA FC.

“I am happy that the glamour is coming back. Let’s keep working hard to bring back the glamour at Dynamos Football Club.”

DYNAMOS host MWOS at Rufaro today in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match.

They are still unbeaten after four games. They have eight points, the same as Scottland, Ngezi Platinum, and Simba Bhora.

Six other teams also have not lost a match going into round five. MWOS are one of them; they are ninth with six points. The game is interesting for another reason, MWOS are coached by Lloyd Mutasa, a former Dynamos player and coach.

A win for MWOS would lift them above Dynamos on the table. A win for Dynamos would keep them close to the leaders CAPS United.

Before this match, Dynamos have been in the news for the wrong reasons.
