ZIMDANCEHALL sensation Empress Masina has released a collection of five new singles.

The singles, which include ‘Ndaneta’ featuring Van Choga, ‘Mjolo’ featuring Timzcater, ‘Usayende,’ ‘Musumo,’ and ‘Hatiuye Kumba’ featuring Volcanic King, showcase a mix of personal themes and party anthems.

In an interview with H-Metro, Masina said:

“This project has been a labour of love, I wanted to create music that speaks to the heart while also getting people on their feet.

“The singles delve into themes of resilience, relationships and celebration.

“’Ndaneta’ explores emotional exhaustion, while ‘Mjolo’ takes a more light-hearted approach to the complexities of modern relationships, ‘Musumo’ and ‘Hatiuye Kumba’ promise to be crowd favourites with their danceable beats.”

She said the festive season provides a crucial window for artists to release new material.

“December is when people are tuned into local music more than ever, it is the time for artists to shine.

“Fans can access the singles on major streaming platforms,” said Masina.
