‘Emulate President’

Zanu-PF national chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo urged youths to embrace President Mugabe’s virtues.
“Have the youth since the inception of the 21st February Movement, lived, walked, talked and anchored the President’s virtues into practice? Have the youth established enabling processes to inculcate these virtues, which our President has practised all his life?” Cde Khaya Moyo asked.
He said it was important for the nation to invest in youths as they represent the country’s future. “It may be a question of resources, but surely if we invest in the youth, we invest in the future,” he said.
Cde Khaya Moyo urged youths to shun corruption that he said was destroying society’s fabric. “I notice across the spectrum of our life that greed is slowly eating our nation. Be that as it may let us practise our President’s virtues and spread the message to all the youth across the country. This is a fundraising occasion for a noble cause and if well executed it translates to an insurance for the sovereignty and a prosperous future for this great nation. You are the vanguard of the revolution and must guard against unprofitable conduct, without any apology. Discipline, hard work, respect and achievement must be your watchwords,” he said.
