He says he has big dreams to shake the local entertainment industry.
“I always want to sing something with substance and not the ordinary stuff people know.
“I started singing when I was in school and then joined Chiedza Chavatendi in 2019 and I learnt quite a lot.
“I then recorded my first single in 2022 and my first album in 2023 was named Moyo Wakanaka.
“My vision is to be heard all over the world preaching to everyone
“I went to Kasanze Primary in Zvimba and Muchere Secondary in Zvimba also.”
The 37-year-old singer said he owes his success to Chiedza Chevatendi.
“The groups, Chiedza Chavatendi and Vabati VaJehovah, inspired me a lot through their songs and characters.
“They taught me to learn and know about Christ.
“I dreamt about myself being on stage several times and I won’t forget that.
“My family understood that my job is to preach so they blessed me from the time I was young and they were very supportive.”
Chidakwa said he needs a vibrant marketing team.
“As an upcoming artist, it’s very hard to be on top and I wish I had a vibrant marketing team to help me.”
