A HARARE woman claimed her ex-lover’s body gets itchy every time he takes drugs after he dragged her to the Civil Court over the weekend.
Austin Mangwiro was granted a protection order against his ex-girlfriend, Anna Naido, who he accused of insulting him when he refuses to give her money to buy drugs.
“She is my ex-girlfriend, but she visits me at my work place to insult me.
“Every time she asks for money to buy drugs and when I do not give her, she starts insulting me,” he said.
In response, Naido told the court that Mangwiro is her husband and not former boyfriend. “I dispute what he is saying, he is my husband, I am his second wife.
“I work opposite his workplace where he sells alcohol and drugs and sometimes, we have misunderstandings when he asks me to deal with a customer so that we get money and I do not cooperate.
“The police told me to apply for a protection order against him, but he locked me inside the house and instead went to apply for a protection order before me,” she claimed.
Naido also told the court that Mangwiro insults her if she does not massage him.
“He has a problem that I had no intention to reveal. Whenever he takes drugs, his body becomes itchy and I am supposed to massage him. If I do not massage him, he insults me,” she said.
Magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted Austin the protection order and ordered Naido not to insult or harass him.
