A HARARE woman was granted a protection order against her husband who had turned their matrimonial home into a lodge.

Locadia Matshoba told to the court that her husband, Blessing Mupandawana, had a habit of bringing sex workers into her matrimonial home. She also accused him of being abusive.

“Every time he comes home drunk, he abuses me. When he is under the influence of drugs, he assaults me.

“At one time I caught him in bed with another woman in my house and I got into a fight with her. She later apologised that she didn’t know he was married,” Locadia said

She charged that his conduct was affecting their minor children mentally because he is always complimenting other women.

Blessing was not in court to defend himself.
