FELI NANDI LEAVES FOR GERMANY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Maria Chiguvari

FELI Nandi has left the country for the prestigious Moto Moto Festival at Odonien in Köln, Germany, on Saturday.

The songstress will not present a 20-piece ensemble that she curated for the Redefined Concert but is accompanied by a normal touring band.

“The 20-piece was just a curated set for Redefined. Here we use a normal size touring band” said her manager Connie Mazani.

The Moto-Moto Festival targets the European market, with the goal of pushing African music to the global space.

It is a collaborative effort between local musical guru, Plot Mhako, and Germany promoter Victor Schach.

The focus is on getting an internationally diverse audience to come and enjoy what Zimbabwe has to offer in terms of music and artistry. Next month, the songstress is set to have a third edition of her intimate experiences dubbed “A Night With Feli Nandi”.

For the past five months, she has not done a solo performance.

She had the opportunity to dress American artists Dee 1, Lady Beast and Nick Neutronz, who were guests, at the Next Level Hip Hop exchange programme.

“This will be our 3rd Edition of the intimate experience that we have tagged ‘A Night with Feli Nandi.’

“We are preparing a special treat

“I had the pleasure of dressing these amazing American artists. Looking forward to more cultural exchange opportunities,” said Feli Nandi.

Locally, Feli has been touring with the Doek and Slay team, which has significantly expanded her fan base.

She has delivered vibrant performances in Harare, Bulawayo, Masvingo and Mutare, wearing unique outfits, which has captivated music fans.
