Fiery Bulldogs tear Milton to pieces

Rugby match over the weekend.
Churchill have been in good form this season and have only lost once to Prince Edward during the Cottco Schools Rugby Festival in May.
The Bulldogs beat Peterhouse 34-25, before destroying Eaglesvale 67-0 and capped it all with emphatic wins over Falcon and St John’s.
The Bulldogs were all over their opponents and mounted tremendous pressure that saw them getting their first try in the second minute of the game through impressive flanker Lazarus Chisaya.
Churchill continued to pile the pressure and inside five minutes Takudzwa Kumadiro scored two tries.
Churchill’s superiority continued and hooker Victor Chimusoro put his name on the score sheet with three tries to send the Bulldogs leading 42-0 to half-time.
After the breather Passion Kamwemba scored a try with outside centre Kudzai Mashawi scoring three tries to add more misery to the out-of-sorts Milton side.
Scrum-half Itai Nyakambaza, who had earlier on posted four conversions, scored a try before Linince Tambwera capped a fine afternoon for the Bulldogs with a conversion.
Inside centre, Tinashe Toriro, also scored a try.
Milton got their consolation towards the end of the match after the Churchill backline had a mix-up.
Bulldogs’ coach Jeff Madhake praised his team.
“We dominated from the first whistle and I think technically we were better than them.
“We won 100 percent of our scrums and dominated in every department which was very crucial.
“My boys are playing well and I attribute their good form to hard work,” said Madhake.
Meanwhile Prince Edward returned to winning ways when they beat St George’s 34-30 in a tightly contested encounter.
The Tigers had lost the reverse fixture 17-12 in their first defeat of the season.
Other Results:
Prince Edward 34, St George’s 30; Peterhouse 23, Falcon 15; St John’s 34, Lomagundi 21.
