THE Nedbank Premier Netball League organisers are happy with the way the season is proceeding so far.
The long weekend delivered a thrilling set of games at three bubble points.
This was the fifth round of matches.
Innocent Ndiya, the league’s spokesperson, praised the clubs for their discipline and quality performances.
“The Premier Netball League delivered another successful weekend of netball as Week 5 brought high-energy matches and passionate community support across three venues.
“For the first time this year, the league extended its reach to Goromonzi, a bubble which was hosted by Makate High Fliers and Epworth communities, and the response was outstanding. “The expansion allowed more fans to experience top-level domestic netball first-hand and we thank the local leadership and supporters in both areas for the warm welcome and electric atmosphere,” said Ndiya.
In Mutare, Sakubva’s Zamba Primary School hosted the city bubble where supporters turned out in full force to cheer on their clubs.
The day featured dominant performances, competitive clashes and standout individual displays that showcased the depth of talent in the league.“Across all three bubbles, the matches were played in a spirit of sportsmanship, discipline and high quality netball.
“The weekend action reaffirmed that the Premier Netball League continues to grow as a platform for competitive sport and community engagement. This would not have been possible without the support of their sponsors, Nedbank.
