Flavor Flav has taken his entertainment career to new heights. The 56-year-old rapper stunned passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight on Saturday when he left his seat and began to hand out snacks to travellers, TMZ reports. Taking on the job as flight attendant, the hip-hop star announced “pretzels, peanuts. . . peanuts pretzels”- as he maneuvered down an aisle.
The former VH1 fixture was dressed in a blue Adidas tracksuit and donned a large clock around his neck – an accessory that he is best known for wearing no matter the occasion.
And he continued to keep track of time with two chunky gold watches – one for each hand.
The “Fight The Power” hitmaker was followed by a staff member of the budget airlines as he took on her duties and waited on passengers for the flight from Phoenix to Las Vegas.
Born William Drayton Jnr, the musician is a founding member of 2013 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Public Enemy.
On Saturday he performed with the rap group at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s The Joint nightclub with rock band The Cult. However, two weeks earlier his presence in Sin City was a far more noticeable one.
According to a report, some of the charges the father of seven was arrested on included possession of marijuana, open container, speeding and driving with a suspended licence.
Officers spotted him going “73mph in a 45mph zone”. The entertainer resides in Las Vegas with his fiance of eight years Elizabeth Trujillo and their son Karma – the youngest of his progeny, which includes Shanique, Karen, William, Dazyna, Quanah and Kayla from two other partners. – Daily Mirror.
