Budding musician Floppy Flaws is making waves in the music scene, with his latest track, “Egoli”, hitting new heights by topping the Saturday Skyz Metro FM chart.
Featuring Bhila and produced by Stormza Audio Works in Old Lobengula, “Egoli” is a fresh entry on the charts, signalling a promising future for the Bulawayo-based artiste in the Afro-pop and Hip-Hop genres.
“Egoli” delves into the theme of unrequited love, telling the story of a girl who is unsupportive and lacks genuine affection for her partner, despite his significant emotional investment. As the narrative unfolds, the girl relocates from Bulawayo to Egoli, where she initially finds love, but the relationship soon turns abusive. Eventually, she reaches out to her ex-lover, who has become financially stable, only to be met with resentment. He reminds her of how she left him due to his lack of money.
The song carries a powerful message, urging young women to value their partner’s efforts and the importance of true love, especially in February, the month of love.
Floppy Flaws expressed his excitement for the success of the track and his aspirations for the future.
“I’m excited about how the song is being received, and I promise more hits in collaboration with my producer, Madcitybeats,” he said.
Floppy Flaws began his musical journey in 2022 with his debut track “Skrr Olenkani”, which gained significant airplay on radio stations like Skyz Metro FM and Nust FM.
