Zimdancehall star Freeman will this Saturday date fans at the newly-refurbished Skyline River Resort in Harare South.
Formerly Skyline Motel, the joint situated in Southlea Park is now under new management and has been transformed into a one stop resort.
Fresh off his latest album-ME vs ME-released last October, Freeman will be joined on stage by fellow dancehall star Tocky Vibes and Sulumani Chimbetu.
Skyline River Resort new owner Shadreck Tiripano expressed excitement, saying they are ready to welcome patrons and introduce their jewel to domestic tourists.
“We are honoured to host Freeman this Saturday as he continues with his new album tour. This show is designed for everyone to have an experience of our newly refurbished state of the art facilities at Skyline River Resort.
“We are boasting of a one stop resort ideal for family outings, overnight accommodation including deluxe rooms, chalets and huts, a restaurant, a kiosk and braai areas.
“We have also included various recreational activities such as the zipline, quad bikes, horse riding and a children’s play area making it an ideal entertainment spot for the whole family,” said Tiripano.
Tiripano said the resort will continue to create more employment for locals.
“The facility is working towards embracing the tourism and green investments by ensuring that the natural fauna is not harmed in the renovation efforts.
“We have also made sure that people from the surrounding areas benefit from the resort by employing them and utilizing their rich resources,” he said.
