CONVICTED drug dealer Gary Bell has been commuted back to prison, after two High Court judges revoked his appeal on Thursday afternoon.

His appeal case was presided over by High Court judges, Justice Munamato Mutevedzi and Justice Ngoni Nduna.

Bell, had been out on US$500 bail since mid-August, pending his appeal against a conviction and judgment issued at the magistrates’ court in July this year.

Bell had been sentenced to 18 months in prison, with six being suspended on condition of good behavior, meaning he would only be left to serve one year.

The revocation of his appeal states that he will now serve the remaining term of his sentence.
