Gondo gaining confidence

Greg Bentley is now second after he was tied in third place having won the Marange Resources Pro-Am earlier this season.
Gondo said he saw his maiden Golden Pilsener Zambezi Tour tournament win coming.

Gondo maintained his composure after the first round to score a four-under-par 68 in the second round.
The Bulawayo based player pocketed US $ 3000 for his efforts.

“It was high time I won an event. It was good to win my first tournament and I think this season my game has improved.
“I have managed to finish in the top five in many tournaments which is driving me to believe in myself. Winning such a tournament is good as it will help me to prepare for some tournaments in South Africa,” said Gondo.
